EVE Flipper tool: data-driven trading and manufacturing in New Eden

During my ongoing search for greater efficiency as I restart my operations, I came across what I would describe as one of the best EVE Online tools I have ever seen: EVE Flipper

It is a GitHub project described as follows:
“EVE Flipper is a real-time market arbitrage scanner for EVE Online. It finds profitable trading opportunities by analyzing live market data from the EVE Swagger Interface (ESI).”
Source: https://github.com/ilyaux/Eve-flipper/wiki

To use it, you first need to download and install the local server, which connects to ESI and retrieves raw market data. The interface runs in your web browser. Once the server is running, open your browser and navigate to:
http://localhost:13370/

You can download the latest release here:
https://github.com/ilyaux/Eve-flipper/releases

The user interface is well organized. You can sort and filter the data in multiple ways. I am still new to the tool and continue to discover additional features and useful tips.

The tool is primarily oriented toward trading, with a dedicated tab for many activities: market arbitrage, contracts arbitrage, station trading, PLEX trading, and industry. However, the industry functionality currently has some limitations, such as:
“No full invention/reaction planner parity for every chain.”

I intend to use it more extensively for industry once this major limitation is addressed:

What I appreciate most is the War Tracker. It provides a clear overview of active war regions, commonly destroyed items, and areas of high demand, along with profit estimates. In EVE, war consistently creates market opportunities.

What happened during the last months

I want to highlight what happened during the months of October and November 2025, even though nothing was manufactured, the selling activity was not halted suddenly, even some major sales happened during this period.

1.   October 2025 results

Industry financial result.xlsx - Excel

The major sales during this month were 6 freighters and 2 combat capitals ships via contract, an Archon and Apostle, adding to this 1074 T2 modules also sold during this month, the remaining capitals stock was huge, I was left with 7 freighters and 3 combat capitals chips to sell.

The best about this month is the completion of the first batch of combat capital ships: 1 apostle, 2 archons and 2 revelations, directly added to the contract market, I have bundled them with helium isotopes so the buyer could jump to his staging system.

I was not very happy about the time needed for these chips to be sold, it was quite slow to move them, adding to this the profit was not that huge compared to the effort or the invested cash, an orca could be as profitable as a revelation if the market winds are good.

Despite this, I can qualify it as a good experience and there is plenty of room to scale the activity.

2.   November December 2025 results

This month’s key achievement was the successful liquidation of the remaining three combat capital ships through the contracts market ( 2 Revelations and 1 Archon), also 103 T2 modules sold with around 1 billion worth of PI, total sales were 11.5 billion ISK.

During month of December, 3 freighters and 2 Metenox moon drills were sold in the market.

3.   Where am I now?

My actual net worth is about 88 billion isk, 40 billion of it is cash, with this much cash I can plan my upcoming experience according to my challenges, to resume, I want to create the most optimal process for combat capital ships manufacturing operation, where the maximum of profit is achieved with the minimal effort possible, I want to design an automated industrial production pipeline, using only one account and 30 slots, and see where we can go with it before thinking about a second account, my feeling that my characters are underutilized is still there, my starting point will be to lower my slots vacancy to less then 10%, means my manufacturing slots should be busy 90% of the time, a lot of planification work should be done to achieve this, it is not that easy for me specially because I have a daily window from 6pm to 8pm to play due to RL obligations, lets see what will happens.

The hiatus is over, time to move forward again

I know it has been a while since my last post. This was mainly due to some personal circumstances and a bit of burnout. That said, I was still logging in every two or three days to update PI and handle minor activities such as BP copying. If things go well, I am planning to fully restart my industrial operations at the beginning of February.

I am considering applying several new ideas during this upcoming phase. I have most of them in mind, but I still need to organize the overall process. I have been monitoring the situation closely, and the current market conditions look favorable.

There has also been some good progress that I did not mention earlier, during November and December 2025. At the moment, I have practically no sell orders, and most of my wealth is held in ISK. This feels like the right moment to restart with new ideas and fresh challenges. I do not have all the details ready yet, but I can briefly mention what I am thinking of implementing:

·       Using super-batches

·       Abandoning month-to-month updates

·       Specialized characters

My gameplay style will not change significantly. I will remain a solo industrialist operating with a single account.

In the next post, I will provide an update on the progress made in November–December 2025, assess the current situation, and elaborate on what I believe my next journey will look like.

The first combat capital ship: A new milestone

Happy to announce the achievement of one of my major goals: manufacturing my first combat capital ship, today the Apostle is ready and already on sale in contracts market for 5.1 billion (+ fuel).

The process already started last month, but the connectivity issue halted it, so this month few was left to finish the job, some components were bought directly from the market via buy orders.

As the month is still far from finishing, I will start a small batch of other combat capitals, I am thinking about 2 Archons and 2 revelations, I should start from scratch, I was able to sell 4 freighters during the last 10 days (the competition is fierce!) and extracting some ISK from the sales orders, the main character is able to manufacture all the parts.

In the T2 side, I am spamming invent/build some of the highest sales volume items, like ballistic control II, just to convert material to ISK, I am selling at market price to prevent harming other sellers, my goal is to have around half of my net worth as ISK.

The freighters sales are struggling, some prices went below 1.8 billion, I am just stocking them waiting for the high tide, can’t afford to lose that much profits.

Manufacturing update for September 2025

Not really satisfied by this month’s results, that connectivity issue hit hard on my efficiency, I hope the issue is solved and the marine internet cable was repaired, I need to check in tech news.

The total sales were around 28 billion ISK, the milestone of manufacturing 25 freighters was not accomplished, but I was not that far from it, as 17 freighters were manufactured and 11 sold (some from previous month batch), I have now another 11 freighters in sale orders or stock.

Also, 785 T2 modules produced and sold, around 700 million worth of them still in the market, some P1 planetary materials were sold.

Analysing the numbers, I can notice that I have a “swelling” in my finances, it is the raw material heavily eating the cash, valued around 30 billion, the below table gives a clear idea about the issue.

this is what happens when you abuse buy orders.

I should hold buying more stuff and start “liquefying” these piles of raw material, first steps already taken, I decided to manufacture an Apostle, the amarrian FAX, it will use lot of available raw material, few missing materials are shipped from jita to lowsec station, I will add probably about 10 freighters, and the maximum of T2 modules, priority will be given to the items which their material is already available, EveGuru tool will help on this matter.

I will distribute the available freighters between jita and amarr, moving large ships 50+ jumps to jita will be a challenge but it is the only solution.

The reactions business nicely took its place in the pipeline, helping the manufacturing process, lowering the costs and converting the raw material to cash.

The invention business needs to new plan for longer and more profitable jobs, I have a lot of T2 BPC to produce but it is not a reason to let the slots go inactive, I will prepare a list of XL modules and T2 ships to invent and sell, still need to figure out.

As mentioned before, I will start the manufacturing of the first combat capital ship this month, it will be the Apostle, it is a priority now as I will have time to focus on the process, my main character  can now produce all the components, I will go for another capital ship – the Archon- if things go smoothly.

Contracts analysis tool from Sir SmashAlot: A hidden gem

I recently came across a tool that Sir SmashAlot has published to have a comprehensive view about the contracts market, Built with PowerBI the business analytics plateform from Microsoft, it is data-rich tool that allows you to follow the prices of any item or blueprint, including the original ones.

The Link

For me I use it semi daily to monitor the capital ships prices, to know key sellers, and check which region records the most sales, if the contracts are a main market for you this tool will be helpful.

While the in-game client allows you to check live contracts, knowing the history of contracts for a given item is what this tool excels in, you can even copy data from it and past it in Excel to have more control.

Mid September update

This is an update about what is going on this month.

The connectivity issue made things complicated, I can declare that this month’s goals are officially missed, 2 days ago I bought a VPN subscription, to reroute my connection and avoid the damaged marine cables area, things improved a little bit, now I can connect to the game.

Despite this, the insights are not alarming. Last week, I managed to purchase 11 billion ISK worth of raw materials from Jita to start manufacturing 12 freighters (the second batch of the month). So far, 7 freighters have been completed and are ready for the market, and the final assembly of the remaining 12 will begin on Monday. I plan to pause freighter production after this batch and focus on sales for the rest of the month.

The T2 business is just dead until now, the temptation is great to manufacture and unload at least 2 or 3 batches to the markets, some preferred T2 items prices are in high tide, I don’t want to miss the opportunity, specially that I already have their BPCs.

The planned Archon (Amarr carrier) is in state of uncertainty, some parts already built but can’t focus on it.

I am disengaging from industry in the north side (Jita region), I moved my northern freighter to the south, and assign it to serve transport between the refinery and the manufacturing base in low sec, another freighter is for hauling between Amarr and T2 station, each manufacturing base has its own freighter, DST and runner, I move between them using interceptors, I am using a hauling service from Jita to low sec station.

The invention activity is stopped, I am thinking about making the next month a “T2 month” as I have a lot of BPCs, also I expect to have many freighters to sell in the upcoming month so maybe no point of manufacturing more, I will evaluate the situation in 10 days and decide.

The reaction business is at full speed to support the capital parts manufacturing, nothing special about it.

I am heavily using the buy orders now to acquire materials, I got some experience about how to anticipate my business and put buy orders for the upcoming material needs, I got even some capital parts with very good price, the impact will be visible in the upcoming months, more than 4 billion now are tied to buy orders.

Unexpected problem and plan for the the next month

After the relatively good results from the month of August, I was preparing to tackle new goals and new challenges for the upcoming month, until a serious connectivity problem occurs to Eve Online servers, marine fiber optic cables passing through the red sea were damaged, and as I am living in the middle east region, I am heavily affected by this issue, eve online is really slow and unplayable right now (playing Factorio instead), game windows take forever to open, MWD trick in low sec is very risky, even Eve Guru can’t update sometimes, press says that it could take months to repair the cables, I am just following the matter and hoping for the best. ( edit: now the game is literally unplayable, I couldn't connect since 3 days, The situation is deteriorating with each passing day)

The milestone for the next month (hopefully) is to produce and sell 25 freighters, and at least one combat capital ship, and of course the maximum of T2 items, already materials for 7 freighters arrived to the manufacturing station, some capital parts are under construction, it will be some sort of miracle if I can do it with this connectivity issue, but I will try, the chosen combat ship to be produced is Archon the Amarrian carrier, my aim is to achieve 15 billion ISK net worth growth.

Regarding the relocation of the capital manufacturing station, the decision was canceled, paying more and having completed ships in around 4 days is better than having them in 9 days, after all I was still making profit even with higher manufacturing fees, Eve Guru and Isk per hour tools confirmed this.

To lower manufacturing fees, I am thinking about anchoring my own engineering complex soon, to manufacture capital parts there, then move them to the Sotiyo for ship assembly, need to investigate more about the logistical feasibility of this move, not very clear yet.

Manufacturing update for August 2025

Here we are at the end of August, it was a good month in term of business, and lot of goals were achieved, a lot of lessons were learned also, the net worth increased for 8.011 billion ISK, which means 11.26%, reaching 79 billion ISK.

Contrary to the last month were all the production was sold, I can’t really calculate the real profit now, as many freighters are still not sold yet, I have manufactured 18 freighters, 9 of them were sold, and still 9 in inventory, also 1260 items of T2 modules from different sizes were manufactured and sold, no significant inventory is left.

I think I was able to do better than this regarding the freighters sales, giving the fact that I have started putting them on market very late at 17th of August, despite this the milestone of manufacturing more than 12 freighters is achieved, the T2 large scale manufacturing campaign launched after 15th of August was successful also, almost doubling the sold items.

To be able to produce this much of freighters, I moved my manufacturing base to a low sec rigged sotiyo, lowering the time of production of the ship to about 4 days instead of 9 days, and because of the industry index, this move comes with a huge price, the manufacturing fees went skyrocket, more than 4 billion ISK only for reactions and manufacturing, and the courier to low sec was not cheap, now I am standing here scratching my head, and learning this lesson the hard way, to solve this problem, I will move back my freighters manufacturing base to HS (canceled, check the next post), and train my second character to be able to build large ships, like this I will have a potential of manufacturing 20 freighters at the same time, and save the courier fees by doing it by myself as usual.

The T2 side is doing well, the selected items perform good despite fluctuation, I need to add another item to this golden list, other second line items like turrets are doing well also, but only if you put them in the market at the right time, it is a good idea the produce a batch of them and monitor the market for the right moment.

The invention business was active the second half of the month, I still have an inventory of about 1300 T2 BPC ready for production, I just stopped using decryptors to lower my costs.

Also for the reactions, the business was very active, it was literally a non stop, I have a huge inventory of R4 moon goo to be reacted to composite material for capital parts manufacturing, I will surely fell short of reaction slots once stepping to the combat capitals manufacturing, plexing a second account is probably soon.

I went aggressive this month regarding the sale strategy, updating the prices 2 to 3 times a day, the brokers fee was less than I expected, looks like I will continue doing this, also I started putting some serious buy orders on morphite and hybrid reactions, the orders filled quickly in jita, and struggles in Amarr, looks like Jita is a good place to buy and terrible to sell, buy orders will be part of my process.

I still have to conquer Jita in term of sales, one freighter only was sold there, the mov-op is long and risky, in Amarr the market shows signs of its limited size, I was fighting lack of clients more than competition there, Dodixie starts being on my radar now.

I was seriously preparing the launching of combat capitals manufacturing, it will be in the low sec sotiyo, the courier provider is chosen, and all the blueprints were bought, I need to inject 3.5 million skill points to the main to be able to manufacture these capitals, the first batch will be considered as a trial, I don’t expect doing a good margin, I want to test the contract sell method to have a clear view, I need to build my experience in this field from scratch, bundling these capitals with the most common modules and isotopes for jumping is a good idea also, zkillboard gives valuable info about this.
