Manufacturing update for August 2025

Here we are at the end of August, it was a good month in term of business, and lot of goals were achieved, a lot of lessons were learned also, the net worth increased for 8.011 billion ISK, which means 11.26%, reaching 79 billion ISK.

Contrary to the last month were all the production was sold, I can’t really calculate the real profit now, as many freighters are still not sold yet, I have manufactured 18 freighters, 9 of them were sold, and still 9 in inventory, also 1260 items of T2 modules from different sizes were manufactured and sold, no significant inventory is left.

 

I think I was able to do better than this regarding the freighters sales, giving the fact that I have started putting them on market very late at 17th of August, despite this the milestone of manufacturing more than 12 freighters is achieved, the T2 large scale manufacturing campaign launched after 15th of August was successful also, almost doubling the sold items.

To be able to produce this much of freighters, I moved my manufacturing base to a low sec rigged sotiyo, lowering the time of production of the ship to about 4 days instead of 9 days, and because of the industry index, this move comes with a huge price, the manufacturing fees went skyrocket, more than 4 billion ISK only for reactions and manufacturing, and the courier to low sec was not cheap, now I am standing here scratching my head, and learning this lesson the hard way, to solve this problem, I will move back my freighters manufacturing base to HS (canceled, check the next post), and train my second character to be able to build large ships, like this I will have a potential of manufacturing 20 freighters at the same time, and save the courier fees by doing it by myself as usual.

The T2 side is doing well, the selected items perform good despite fluctuation, I need to add another item to this golden list, other second line items like turrets are doing well also, but only if you put them in the market at the right time, it is a good idea the produce a batch of them and monitor the market for the right moment.

The invention business was active the second half of the month, I still have an inventory of about 1300 T2 BPC ready for production, I just stopped using decryptors to lower my costs.

Also for the reactions, the business was very active, it was literally a non stop, I have a huge inventory of R4 moon goo to be reacted to composite material for capital parts manufacturing, I will surely fell short of reaction slots once stepping to the combat capitals manufacturing, plexing a second account is probably soon.

I went aggressive this month regarding the sale strategy, updating the prices 2 to 3 times a day, the brokers fee was less than I expected, looks like I will continue doing this, also I started putting some serious buy orders on morphite and hybrid reactions, the orders filled quickly in jita, and struggles in Amarr, looks like Jita is a good place to buy and terrible to sell, buy orders will be part of my process.

I still have to conquer Jita in term of sales, one freighter only was sold there, the mov-op is long and risky, in Amarr the market shows signs of its limited size, I was fighting lack of clients more than competition there, Dodixie starts being on my radar now.

I was seriously preparing the launching of combat capitals manufacturing, it will be in the low sec sotiyo, the courier provider is chosen, and all the blueprints were bought, I need to inject 3.5 million skill points to the main to be able to manufacture these capitals, the first batch will be considered as a trial, I don’t expect doing a good margin, I want to test the contract sell method to have a clear view, I need to build my experience in this field from scratch, bundling these capitals with the most common modules and isotopes for jumping is a good idea also, zkillboard gives valuable info about this.

Moving T2 manufacturing base closer to Amarr

 I have mentioned in the previous post that my T2 industry is literally stopped, I can’t let this situation persist as the T2 share of the total profits of the last month was about 35%,  I can’t ignore this percentage, that’s why I decided to move my T2 operation close to Amarr, abandoning T2 dreadnoughts invention idea, and launching a large scale invention batch to create the required T2 BPC, I have many other T2 BPCs but they are not really profitable, the pressure from the freighters manufacturing starts fading, as 5 freighters are ready to hit the markets, giving room to T2 manufacturing.

The new base of operation for T2 is and NPC station less than 5 jumps from Amarr, with an acceptable industry index of 1.25%, I want to spend less time jumping between systems, this step will surely add more efficiency to my process, I am not expecting to manufacture 699 T2 items like the previous month, but at least the T2 profits will be present in the end of month balance sheet.

I should return to Eve Guru and EVE Isk per hour to crunch some numbers, and see what is going on in that side of the market, if you monitor the market closely for a long time, you will notice that there is a sort of “price cycles” happening every certain period of time, that is why veteran industrialists which I am following always say to list our products in a profitable price even if it is higher than the actual, and wait for the cycle to come, don’t go the price, let the price comes to you by playing the long game.

Mid August 2025 update

 

Here we are at the middle of the month, it is a good point to assess the progress of what I Planned to do for this month:

The freighters manufacturing is moving at full steam, 8 freighters already under construction, 8 more will be started (the parts phase) by tomorrow, now I will produce 3 to 4 types of freighters, I used hauling service for the first time since long ago to move all materials to the base, except tritanium and pyerite, where I moved them by myself.

Regarding the combat capitals ships, looks like they are really skill-intensives, with my 44 millions skill points, I need another 4 millions to be able to manufacture these ships, and only for one race, I will move this project to the next month most likely, it is inevitable to enter this new field of combat capitals, I can’t continue manufacturing only freighters.

In the other side, the T2 manufacturing is literally dead, not a single module was built, I leave it to the end when all freighters are under construction, once combat capitals manufacturing is started, I will definitely exit this niche, and keep just what is needed by capitals like siege modules II or T2 XL turrets, useful to sell capitals as bundle.

The reactions business is booming, my 30 slots can’t keep up with the demand of the freighters, I just bought some composite reactions materials to avoid the bottleneck in the manufacturing process.

Invention is dead, only one batch launched and waiting for manufacturing, I just use the slots for copying or increasing efficiency of the BPOs.

The idea of having another account with 3 characters for manufacturing starts being logic now, I fell short rapidly of reactions slots, and with combat capitals manufacturing ahead, all types of reactions will be heavily required, no point to build capitals if not doing all reactions with it, it is simply unprofitable.
